That Loki died long ago.

Actually, that’s the same Loki that let Frost Giants into Asgard in the first place. He’s always and forever will be the God of Mischief. People tend to forget that. He literally does everything for the laughs, despite wanting fatherly love, he can’t fight his troublesome nature.

Oh I haven’t forgotten that. I wouldn’t trust Loki or think him as being innocent like…ever, as far as I could throw him. Which probably wouldn’t be very far. Don’t gods weigh tons or something?

I’m just thinking there’s a difference between the Loki who thinks he’s Thor’s brother and the Loki who knows he’s the eternal enemy of the very people he called kin. Even just in the early and later parts of Thor itself.

Always been a little shit perched on a thinning precipice, but finding out you’re adopted and the monster your people use to scare little children into being good can really fuck with someone.

I should know. And I don’t have half the issues Loki does.

And just so we don’t forget, Thor was pretty gung ho about committing genocide (of the Frost Giants, but still) until he was exiled to Earth and fond the cheesy healing power of love (ie. Jane, not that Jane is cheesy, Jane is pretty kickass, but the trope kind of is).

People can change. Even if it is only getting worse to the point you go blow up half of Manhattan.

After years of being emotionally and sometimes physically abused by my mother and bullied at school, my anxiety and depression basically prevent me from being a functioning human being. I can’t make phonecalls or talk to people I don’t know, I don’t have a driver’s license, every little obstacle makes me wanna quit. I have a hard time getting up from bed and often forget to eat, shower or brush my teeth, and need someone to remind me to do so. I also work a dead end job (which I only got thanks to my grandmother’s friend) and housing is really expensive around here, so it’d leave me with limited money for medication and things that make my life bearable. It makes me angry when people tell me to ‘just move out’ - if it were easy, I would have done it as soon as I turned 18.
